Delta-Peak Sensitivity The automatic charge-termination program works on the principle of the Delta-peak voltage detection. Capacity Limit: The charging capacity is always calculated by multiplying the charging currentby the charge time. If the charging capacity exceeds the limit, the process will be terminated automatically when you set the maximum value. Temperature Limit : The battery temperature will rise while charging because of its internal chemical reaction .If you set the temperature limit, the charging process will be terminated when the limit has been reached. This function requires the use of the optional Temperature Sensor. Processing Time Limit: You can also restrict the maximum process time to help protect against possible defects in the battery pack. Input Power Monitor: When using a 12v car battery as the input power, the charger will monitor its voltage and shut off if the voltage from the car battery becomes too low. This is to protect against your car battery being over-discharged and not having enough power to start your car. High-Power and High-Performance Circuit: The Cavalier EQ employs a circuit that has a maximum output power of 50W. As a result, it can charge up to 14 NiCd/NiMH cells and a series of 5 LiPo batteries with a maximum current of 5.0A. The current will be automatically reduced if the 50W limit is exceeded.
